nice bread & butter job, just need C00113038 ( SHAFT KIT ), comes with both types of bearings, front and back seals, new front bearing pads, new shaft and screws . Also listed as a Qual part (204807).

mod kit for ice build up is DA8101997A, Contains the modified plastic parts, seals and new sensor.Also contains printed sheet on how to reprogram the eprom to extend the defrost time.
safety mod is DA8201238J but this should be done FOC by Samsung or it’s service agents

had the same last week. found that water had gone onto the ntc and had shorted out. The other thing to check is that the diagphram is free in the pressure chamber and is not stuck. The ntc pushes into the sump to the left of the heater and the pressure chamber is in a similar position.

Oncall isn’t just the service side of Comet. It’s also the home delivery side of Comet as well, hence the big van. The reason they had to change the name is both delivery and service don’t just do work for Comet anymore, they also carry out work for other major shops now and I have it, under good inside info, that major things are on the horizon.
Re: Exploding Candy Washing Machines
We have had at least 30 in the merseyside and north wales area do this and probably over 100 in the uk in the last 6 months. Various models are effected, 6,7,8 and 9 kg drums. All the same effect, The pressed seam on the stainless steel drum parts on a fast spin, slices through the top weight bolts, dispenser, lid and, (if your lucky first time round) takes out the harness on the top right and blows the electrics. If it misses them first time round, it carries on and takes the bottom of the machine out as well.
Have investigated a few and am part through doing an insurence claim on one at the moment in our workshop. Candy development in Brugherio are still investigating the fault but due to the amount made so far, have not come up with a viable solution. Recon the chief designer is sleeping with the fishes as we speak 😉
