agree with hardwired, if youve got animals etc best get duel tech Pir’s
MW & Passive IR combined to save against false alarms like in a conservatory catching heat from sun.

one more month and that will be 12months, something strange may happen. it may be out of warranty ? :rolls:

have you got anything in writting, as I may be usefull, he’s said that she said will be of no use after 12months.

If you havnt got anything, a quick run down to trading standards may be usefull, as things may get messy, not suggesting it will, but why take a chance 🙂

    Hope this helps.

    William,

you might want to chech the Mains terminal block at rear of oven these do on occasions burn out due to poor quality of this component.

    Just a thought

    Appols Andy,

Still lookin/ asking for genuine gias tech mod bulletin but it was that long ago (1999/2000) that most of guys I know across uk cannot remember the value of resistor placed across neon. but this was a reccomended fix by gias.

If my memery serves me right a flash test 1.45kv with leakage current of 10ma would of picked up this fault during manufacture as I worked for national homecare that did 3rd party work for Gias.

Perhaps this post might stimulate some old memory cells and recall what the value was.

Re: Looking to buy a a Pocket PC or Smartphone?

Just bought a pda hp ipaq 214 enterprise(£188 + vat) from pc buisiness work, IMHO i dont think there is anything on the market that will touch it Windows Mobile 6, processor 624 MHz, internet, email, 4″ screen, office apps, WI FI, bluetooth, printer function, sd & cf slot, facility to connect to net through mobile. (no cost incurred when on free wireless zone).

Personally I think it the dogs when it comes to Pda’s

Hope this might help if considering purchasing a Pda.

    Wvm.

Ps It is new on the european market took 3 months to get one, so you may want to take a rain check untill some good reviews, works well with connect and ukwhitegoods online.

Re: Hotpoint Ultima WD865A leaks water all over the place

please be advise that this Brand will go into spin full of water, and water will come out of every Orifice possible tub seal, soap drawer etc.

1st thing i would advise is check that the sump filter is clear, this hose sits on bottom of tub and goes to the pump to drain hose.

I would check this 1st failing this would get a pro in as this brand is a nightmare, could be tacho on mtr that throws mc into spin or it could be those useless electonics and eprom that you machine is fitted with.

    hope this helps
    Wvm.

ps I feel sorry that were misled by probably a salesperson and purchased this brand.

    Orifice
unfortunatley doesnt include this brand in the description in dictonary, but if I give you a clue this would be where waste comes out of the human body, this imho would be what you have got in kitchen, and a big pile of it.
