STARTING A RESET
After an alarm or with the appliance at a standstill, press the Functions and Start/Stop buttons and hold them down
for about 2 seconds, until a beep is heard.
“P-” appears on the display and the RESET procedure starts.
At the end of the procedure, “E-” flashes on the display, alternating with the program which was running and has been
interrupted, if any.
Depending on the appliance’s status, the RESET command may not be accepted: in this case, open and close the door
and then repeat the procedure.
ATTENTION
If it is not possible to perform the RESET cycle, before calling the After-Sales Service switch the

Hi yes the whirpool one with a resistor, now received wont fit direct into housing/with lamp holder, just change the wires around to fit, works every time
have you changed the water valve ?, I had issue on Boshe washer, no issue with filling when off, but kept filling when water supply voltage stopped.
I recently visited a prior fiend of ‘https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/tumble-dryer-fire-llanrwst-deaths-13561830 a few miles from her the drier was only 9 months old with a ring of lint around the seal this had the rivet fitted, and conclude the modification doesn’t work, she is trying to get money back from hotpoint.

if the clicking sound is coming from the compressor , the compressor wont start to vibrate as usual, therefore sounds like system issue and you will need someone with an F-gas certificate.
