tbh looks like the circulation motor is Stuck – Check by listening to a Humming sound after its has filled with water

or there is blockage somewhere on the outlet side of wash pump.

if its not humming then its probably the motor an or the capacitor thats failing.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Fridge explosion

It could be that the be that the pipe buried in the insulation had corroded causing the leak.

Take a look at this one

Re: Hotpoint WD420 tablet not dissolving

Many years ago, a problem occured with a batch of ariel tablets purchased locally from Tesco’s, your problem sound similar where I was getting complaints from customers saying the tablets were not desolving in the drawer.

The company which I worked for had a relationship with ariel, and when I rung them up at customers house, they admited there was a problem and gave them a free supply of tablets (dont know how long for) and paid them the cost of three months service contract.

    Strange but True.

And before I get slated not by you, You say you have just moved and as Jim says your water presure may be low or it may have those dodgy self tapping water taps fited which may have cloged up or if the decent ones are fitted with rectangle blue and red levers they may be worn and not turning the water on properly. if fitted use a small screw driver to remove small screw and then removing red or blue lever and check if the brass double D has fully turned 90 degrees either way. take care if you use pliers to turn them if stiff cause had one snap on me once (ripleys beleive it or not).

    Hope this helps.
