    Re: microwave making moise

IMHO, return it to tesco’s for a replacement, i had dvd from there £20 lasted 9 months went faulty took it back they were happy to give a replacement or refund.

incedently the fault could be tranformer or magnetron, please dont attept to find problem as microwave’s hold large voltage and can kill even if unpluged (thats unless it has bleed resiston across hv capacitor.

    Hope this helps

I’m flummuxed as to why it got wet, honest to god I’ve not a clue…..ANYONE GOT AN IDEA I WONDER?

Another Guess, is the clue in right alongside a trout river…. very posh people have posh tastes which could be high in protein like fish, a guess as I say.

remember one had a problem dishwasher many moons ago (nope wasn’t an indesit 😛 ) , problem being that it only leaked on a sunday morning only, customer wasnt exactly flush (not posh), couln’t understand why, until went there on sunday after breakfast before dishwasher used and found that customer had a cooked breakfast (only on sunday), the clue was in this ‘eggs high in protein’ and customer never rinsed off egg before placing in DW, dw powder + high protein = this was cause of leak 8), and never happened before.

They were also having problems with the door seal being to big and catching on front of drum causing a burning smell – now new door seal being fitted. Hoover are a far better built and more reliable machine overall.

Brings back some memories with pcbs , 8 years ago worked for NHC whom were contracted to Beko for the Wm’s and had to replace all scu’s due to problems with them, but fair play to beko they had gone out of there way to recall and got list from retailers for every mc purchased by consumers and replaced them on site and warehouses, can’t see the likes of indesit doing this for their dodgy machines.

the other thing as I remember with Beko is that they were at the time good payers and never paid late for work done, dont know what they are like now though.

my understanding of this is if the glass had a v, small fracture in the corner the smallest amount of stress on the glass would cause the glass to shatter.

    hope this helps

checked original board and there were no blown tracks, all surfmounted comps looked dandy.
