Re: Electrolux EDE57160W Tumble Dryer – 2nd returned in 2 we

quite strange this one to me anyway others may differ.

however instruction manual does say it must be used in a room +5c to 35c. and does sugest in user manual p21 if it is underloaded or too dry it will stop. and sugests using another program.

With 9 programs to use it may take a little getting used to or youve been extreemly unlucky.

    just a thought

we are all issued with an Alphatek Instaltest 61557 14-in-1 Installation Tester which will do all the tests u will need and more

sorry ‘shonight’ this isnt quite correct, bg dont exactly fully test saftey of an appliance, a pat tester (+inc megger) would be more addequate for this test and includes a polarity check. Mainly I refer to 25A test current through appliance earth path.

imho an eli test would be done if you wanted to expand into offering another product like wiring houses, although advising customers that the earth path was out of required standard is good advice, this does in itself open another can of works for a self employed whitegoods engineer. unless the investment of peice of equipment was to provide return I cant honestly see the benefit in splashing out in an alphatec.

Faulty Pcb ?? have you checked engineering fault codes, the customer will only see 4 fault codes.

    Hope this helps

you can take option of just replacing selector switch 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sucess, or replace complete kit per delonghi tech and you may/or not get a recall within 12 months.

This is based only on my experiences only,.

    Re: delonghi range cooker

Complete kit from delonghi tech buletin for problem includes selector Switch wired to loom. with a 3 side plate to fit above selector sw to prevent burner heat. done it worn the t shirt, 2 weeks later selector switch burnt out, gamble or not selector sw only may work or not. If replacing only selector sw ensure change amp tags.

Its only my experience, gamble for a recall why not ??

    hope this helps,
