Re: Whirlpool semi integrated. Door problem.

Thanks for that. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the model number. As it was inherited with the house I cant find any information.

However, my OH managed to work out why the door would not close -there was a broken spring lodged at the bottom of the door. Having removed that at least the door now shuts and the machine works! Now though, the door just drops with no support.

This machine is on its last legs i think…..the drain hole never completely empties of water so i assume there is something further wrong with it but maybe i will let it limp along for a little longer.

    Thanks again

Re: Bosch Classix 1200 sticking during cyle

Thanks for that – I wll watch it carefully and see if i can find out when it ” sticks”. If it is sticking on the wash cycle, what could be the cause do you think?

Thanks for the help so far

Re: Bosch Classix 1200 sticking during cyle

It appears to work absolutely normally until it starts the rinse cycle… it does rinse, but it goes on and on and on………

once i have spun it separately i have found that the clothes are warmer to touch than usual……

    thanks

Re: Washing machine door seal replacement

    Thanks for that!
I have found a spare on this site so shall replace it after xmas. In the meantime, would it be possible to ” turn” the seal so that the tear is at the top? …..it may lessen the leak as a temporary fix. ….how do you undo the tension band around the seal?

    Thanks for your help
