Apparently according to reports the EU is going to have a bit of a rethink on it’s Ecodesign program that has led to more energy efficient appliances over the years but we think, they might want to rethink the rethink.

Like a bolt out the blue we read this morning that LG is to take on Miele over patents related to steam washing machines demanding that Miele chuck infringing on LG’s patents possibly leading to steam from German ears.

Whirlpool have launched an induction oven that picked up on from an article in Australia where it sells for over $2000AUS but why it caught our attention was that it’s an induction oven and, we were confused.

Recall Code Of Practice

UK government has announced plans that could see a code of practice introduced that aims to govern the recall of major appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers and more in a bid to increase safety.

Samsung really isn’t having a fun time at the moment at all after being rocked by the whole Galaxy Note 7 debacle, exploding washing machines and ones that go on fire along with historic exploding fridges they are now accused that they knew about the problem washers, for three years!

Bogus Hotpoint Engineers
