7 flashes is a heat relay problem, if the heater wiring is ok then it’ll be the main board!, plug out if your gonna peek inside!!

Thanks, I will check it out tomorrow!
If it is the main board, is it cheaper to get a new washing machine or is it worth repairing?
I just realised by checking the forum that my drying function never worked. The washing always gets hot but never dries. So I never use it!
Thanks for the help, will let you know what happened!

I have cleaned the filter and now there are no lights flashing any more. Washing machine partially fills up and just stays on (it doesnt stop and the dial does not move at all), drum does rotate.
If I change setting for washing machine to drain, dial rotates to original setting and stays stuck.
Has anyone got any idea what this means and if it can be fixed??Carolien

ParticipantBearing question.
Hi,
The spin cycle on our Ariston A1435S Advantage is getting gradually noisier as though the bearings are on the way out. The machine is now 5 years old so it would not surprise me. Can you tell me the part no. for the bearing kit so i can order from here? I think it is BKT74 but am not sure.
Thanks for any help.

As far as I can tell, you need AR05105. Drop an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the above part number and Dave’ll sort it out for you.

I have a Ariston Margherita 2000 AL 129 X Washing Machine. My problem is that the machine simply doesn’t clean my clothes, often resulting in still smelly clothes when the washing is done…
The machine washes only till a certain extent. Socks and other clothes that usually are smellier than other stuff, needs a good two or three rounds in the machine before they are wearable…
I’ve tried loading the machine with less clothes and doubling the recommended amount of washing powder.
I need help! My co-workers are “sniffing” intensely around me and are givin’ me funny looks.

Well, there’s no smell from the inside of the machine, it’s the clothes that smell. The reason why I excpect it be something wrong with the washing, is that for example my washed t-shirts typically only smell under the armpits, and the socks only smell on the part that actually go inside the shoe.

I did, but it contained no information that could help me.
That’s the reason I specified that it wasn’t the machine that smelled.

Is this on all wash cycles Boing or just one and, if it is just on one or two, which ones?
