hi all
sorry to hijack the thread but it saves opening a new thread
i have a awd12s with error code 13 flashing
i have read through the problems others have had (pump, pressure sw etc and totally cleaned and checked everything pipe/switch/heater related and all is clean
i noticed on the chocolate(crap) pcb there was 1 connecter corroded dull so i cleaned them all and reflowed any dull joints but still get the error
if anyone knows what the error is i would be greatful.
if i need a pcb i will repair this with components of a better quality rather than buying chocolate pcb’s they really are p155 poor
thanks

Which machine have you got? F13 is a heater circuit fault related to the washer dryers.

hi chaps ive solved it 😀
the 2 sensor wires on the heater were stretched, this was an assembely error as the loom clips to the drum casing with a nylon tie were very tight i assume they connected the 2 wires first then secured the loom after, this was so tight that over time the vibrations cut the wires in the plastic sheath.
now running sweet and its had a good service to boot 😆
hope this helps someone else in the future
thanks guys u rock

Hi
I have an Ariston Margherita 2000 A14. Today the dreaded dial has started going around but never had this particular flash sequence before.
1 single flash every 10 seconds.
My husband has checked for blockages etc also the filter and there is none.
Any ideas?
Thanks

If it is just flashing once then it suggests a short circuited triac, in other words the over expensive, highly unreliable Indesit electronics have bust.
Parts will cost between £85.00 and £100.00 depending on model serial number.
Possibly time to invest in a better quality machine.

hi guys,
I have a problem with an AWD12 advantage ,about a year ago i had the 13 flashes wheel turn fault ,when i ordered coil, thermister, thermal fuse and fitted them it worked perfectly.About a month ago it did it again so i replaced said items again ! It worked for a couple of times and then took out the thermal fuse ! I replaced said fuse ,it worked for half a dry cycle and then went again.
The condenser is clear as is the fan etc..
Any ideas because i’ve a new baby and weather is turning crappy !!
thanks jim

Condenser housing full of fluff and strangling the air flow will cause exactly those symptoms.

The metal ducting doesn’t tend to fluff up. The plastic housing under the duct and into the rear of the drum does.
Iadom is essentially correct though – far better product available for little more money.

ParticipantHello
Can I ask for some advice too?
My Ariston Margherita 2000
AWD 12UK advantage
148021943.00…is having problems.
A few seconds after the programme is started and it starts to fill up, the timer starts going round and round. 8 flashes between pauses. It was an intermittent fault and the machine would do the cycle 1 time out of 5 but now it never works.Baby on the way!!! can’t afford new one!
Do I attempt to remove the pcb and send it off for repair? if so how do i get access to it?
Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

With a baby one the way you may be better off investing in a good quality machine ( something yours most definitely is not).
If you use the forum search facility and enter “Indesit AND eight AND flashes” you will get lots of depressing reading.

Hi, I have just bought my first place & the previous owners left behind a ariston margherita 2000 AWD12 Advantage washer dryer (which is fine with me because now I’m skint!).
It seems to work ok. I don’t have a manual for it & can’t find a filter anywhere? does anybody know where it is for this model?
also, when its finished washing, the tray which holds conditioner is filled with water! is this normal? I can’t see any blockages anywhere.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Swing it out ’til it stops. Pull gently to move it past the stop. Pull drawer body towards you firmly. When it slides free, clean thoroughly, paying particulat attention to the syphon tubes.Penguin45.
