hi, the drier dial just needs to be set to zero, it may be a push in/out dial to see the settings

we’ve tried already to set the drier dial to zero, but it still workes.so now we need to try how it works when it is pushed out 😀 Right? because before I pushed that button in (during working of the maschine) to hide it from my kid 😆 thanks!I will check it today!!

no, it does not matter if the knob is pushed in or out, it has no effect, its just a child proof thing, if it still works when the dial is set to zero it may either be a faulty switch or more commonly if you REMOVE THE PLUG and remove the lid, the small plug on the back of the drier dial may have come off, this makes the machine do a dry cycle after every wash

I think I understand you! can I do it by my own or it must be done by professional?

depends, you must make sure the machine is unplugged from the mains first!!, when the lid is off just look at the back of the dryer dial/switch & make sure there is a small plug with 2 wires connected to it

Hi, I have an Ariston Margherita 12S advantage, have had it for 2 years with no problems then tonight it has stopped part way through a cycle, full of water.
I’ve read through a few of the posts here and have removed te kick panel at the bottom of the machine and unscrewed the round black bit….not sure what to do next as it doesn’t seem to want to come out any further for me to look at it (is this the filter?)
Any advice gratefully received, clear intructions required if at all possible as I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing….
General waste pipes are fine as the sink is draining with no problems.
Thanks
Helen

Participantif the filter doesnt come out easily, theres something in there blocking it
unplug the machine, tip it back, remove the screws securing the pump, take off said pump, remove back pumpbase, refit, refit pump, presto.. easy really
just remember u need to unplug it for sure, and have lots of towels

Drop the drain hose into the washing up bowl first and see how much water you can get out ………..

Okay, I got the filter out and had a look and cleaned it, there was only a 1 penny piece in there…..the hose seems to be clear as well.
switched it back on and it seemed to start okay, then stopped again after 15 mins (on program 8) and started that gantastic clicking it does, still 5 flashes on the light.
Any more ideas?
Thanks
Helen

5 flashes has nothing to do with the pump. It specifically means that the water level switch is jammed in the closed position – the machine thinks it’s full of water. This can be caused by two things – the switch itself has failed, or the collecting chamber in the bottom is full of horrible sticky goo and is blocking the hose to the switch.
Power off before investigating, please.

Dare I ask how I investigate this? Where is the switch etc etc?

Hi, I have the same problem!
My washing machine’s dial started turning (no idea where in the cycle it was! but washing was wet, powder was gone but conditioner was still in tray) and no when I try to reset it as you mentioned before, it does not want to do that.
I can turn the machine on, the red light goes on, I can hear the water running and I think it starts heating it up and then the light goes off and the dial starts turning and the lights flashes 7 times. 🙁My machine: Ariston Margherita 2000 AWD 12S Advantage.

Thanks,
😀
