    Quickwash,

You are winning “ISE’s biggest fan” by an outright mile! Your unswerving belief in the company is marvellous. 😯

I did put SO FAR. 😯

    Remember i own a 1607 😉

I will say this, if ise can keep me happy then that is a big achievement! If you asked my family or friends about how i am usually complaining and taking stuff back they would tell you how fed up they are of me always moaning about this ‘n’ that :rolls:

I would never ‘sing the praises’ of anyone who didnt deserve it!

I asked elsewhere about repairers on your panel who would come out to London E7 to sevice an ISE, as a search in the current UKW repairer said there are none.

    Hi jaunty

I for one cover the E7 area and have supplied machines there and also most of the area above the river,I also cover south of the river where its needed.

Any product purchased the warranty in all legal points remain with the retailer and not the manufacturer.Which is why if you purchase your appliance through your credit card..they are legally obliged to warranty your machine even if ISE did cease..which I very much doubt.

Was it not too long ago the following MAJOR brands who you would’nt dream of going bust folded ?.

    SERVIS
    TEMPO
    MFI
    ELICTRIC SHOPS
    TEBA

And thats off the top of my head without looking about it.At any point. If you dont feel secure then you purchase with your feelings..We all have to start somewhere as did Miele but … We have the faith in the product as did the Major insurance company which a lot of them are refusing to insure several manufacturers appliances.

It comes down to the money figures..if the cost of the repairs and admin are thousands of pounds cheaper than what the insurance premium is then its daft not to pot the same value and gain interest ect from capital in hand and as long as there are legal locks in place which there are then the warranty is safe.

Who insures the buses ?…Nobody..they insure themselves… they put a lump sum into a type of bond to cover and claims then fight it out with the poor driver who’s been hit by one…next time you board a bus ect remember that if you have an injury..do they have the money to pay out ?.

At the end of the day…Go with your heart .. if your not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} happy with the product or back up then walk away..easy as that.We dont force or try to bend people to buy the machine.. its the ethics and reputation we stand by.

    How bizarre.

My post was just as it said – you seem to be ISE’s biggest fan. Your prolific posting about the machine is testament to that. I too am a fan, but my belief in ISE is not as unswerving as yours due to the recent warranty debacle. It meant no more than that.

I certainly don’t want a slanging match either.

    Hopefully this should help. 😉

New website, new appliances, 10 year guarantee info, dealer locator, fund provision and much more are all on the new ISE website.

    HTH 🙂

Not checked in for a little bit here. r600a thanks for the comment that you would service E7 for repairs. This thread to me was more about getting a machine serviced, not whether it was an insurance warranty or non-insurance warranty, which has been addressed in detail already. I think as quickwash has said, the OP mumof6 must all be sorted or we would have heard back here again.

The new website with all the latest info as mentioned by don is great, these things do, I know, take time to get sorted. Any one looking to buy now has all the info they could reasonably want on the dealer network, products, and warranty basis. Well done ISE.

Yes, I agree the website is much improved and also answers many of the questions asked by recent threads. (I too would consider an ISE dishwasher if one was available when I next need one.)

Re dishwasher, ajsdoc is referring to something that I originally mentioned in my post above his, but then moved to the website thread. Thought I’d just mention that so people did not think you were randomly throwing out thoughts. 🙂

    Hi guys.

    I’m just back from Sweden.

Dishwasher, Q3/4 next year as there’s some stuff going on with dish ATM. I can say no more.

Re: ISE5 Broken down for weeks and no one seems to care?????

    Hi there
Sorry to disappear like that but what with Christmas, unscheduled early hols for the kids, etc I haven’t been on here lately.
First thing is my ISE5 has still not been repaired……………and have still not heard anything since the following email was sent to me on December 14th (despite emailing again yeterday).

I have had a word with ISE Limited about this. Apparently the problem relates to one of the spare parts that the agent ordered, a new control board. The parts was out of stock before the part was eventually ordered, but, it had come back into stock by the time it was ordered. The shipment of Control boards that arrived were faulty, the replacement order is on the way. Unfortunately it has not arrived as yet, this is due to the massive backlog of parcels in the delivery system. as soon as it arrives with ISE Limited it will be sent by courier on a next day delivery. I can appreciate that this will be of little consolation due to the ridiculous time frame this repair has taken. Unfortunately the mail backlog is causing chaos in Scotland,

My washing machine seems to have now completely stopped working and quite honestly I feel very saddened by ISE. I fully appreciate the bad weather but surely nearly 3 months is a bit ridiculous?

Anyway just thought I would update you.

    Hi,

Yes, it is ridiculous. I would not disagree.

I also happen to know about this as it was a call that came up for discussion.

It turns out that, before your original post we had no notification of the spares required at all. No contact from the initial report from anyone.

Now, we’re good, but we aren’t able to take action without anybody telling us anything. We only got information at the start of December on what this was actually all about after we chased it up.

As we knew that there was an issue with one of the parts ISE contacted the insurer to try to get some way to sort the problem quicker and I’ve personally been harassing the life out of couriers to get this part that’s required here as quickly as possible which has amounted to, so far, ten emails and a few calls this week alone. Although neither has yet proved fruitful, and I apologise that you have been let down like this again, we are doing everything that we possibly can to get a solution as quickly as humanly possible.

The part, just that one part number, is on it’s own special shipment now from factory.

The weather and all the holidays has not helped this at all but, even allowing for that, this should have been resolved by now.

    K.

Gosh, I hope your machine is fixed soon. We would need to buy a replacement machine if this happened to us – 3 months without a machine would be a no go.

    Was the fault misdiagnosed initially?

Wonder if one of the repairers affiliated to ISE could loan a machine whilst the other one is sorted?? I would expect something of that nature in similar circumstances, you’re not experiencing the warranty cover you’d have hoped for.

Re: ISE5 Broken down for weeks and no one seems to care?????

Thankfully I have not been 3 months without a washing machine (until yesterday) . I recognised that something was wrong when I reported the fault in October (thinking the problem could be sorted before the washing machine went completely – Ha Ha). Although it has been making horrendous noises, holes in clothes, oil marks and not washing well!
Then yesterday it went completely…after I had just washed smelly farm clothes. I then put some towels and cloths in for a boil wash only to find the washing filled up with what looks like the remains of the dirt off smelly farm clothes!! The smell on the towels and the stains are awful and I am now trying to soak them in the bath (thank Goodness they weren’t our tidy clothes)!!
I am now desperate obviously as living in a rural area we don’t have access to late night launderettes, etc (it wouldn’t have come to this if the repairs had been sorted when I initially recognised the problem!)
