    I Have come accross this before

    I changed PCB only to find that I also needed fridge sensor, but was told it was not avaible as spare part because it is fitted new and then the foam casing sprayed in afterwards making it impossible to replace.

    I just changed the last 3 cms or so to a sensor form a second hand HTP Minstral F/F seemed to work fine sorry I can,t remember the model No.

    by the way I meant to say that the power to the compressor is being switched off and on by the control PCB which has connections that are similar to a standard T/Stat setup.

    Thanks iadom – lower wash arm was split

    Changed lower plastic curved wash arm to metal straight one of a second hand Indesit

    Have changed quite a few of these boards
    The EMW guide which comes with there refurbished Boards shows which part is at fault, if you have blown tracks on the PCB.
    Door lock has been my most common fault.
