Could be a monitor fuse, not sure about that actual model but worth checking all internal fuses.

Carbon brushes gone, machine only 15 months old, never came across a first set wearing out that quick.

Had a similar experience with a landlord, got the call to say w/m tripping electrics and a burning smell.
He did not want to waste time and wanted a recon machine that i done a lot of back then. I did suggest that i should look at the machine in case of some thing simple but was told just install the recon machine.
I did as requested and fitted my machine and took the problem machine away.
The problem w/m was a bosch with burned pin on the moulded plug top.
Put a new plug on it and away it went, so sold a £125.00 hotpoint and got a £400.00 Bosch into the bargain.Re: What Made You Walk
Went to one years ago when i worked for home care, bit of a ruff area but not all bad.Walking up to the front door all looked well.
Rung the door bell and then i heard the dogs barking, don;t mind dogs so no problem there. Then the door opens and the smell of dog shit and piss would have knocked you on your back!
The lady of the house said come in and excuse the news papers from the front door all the way along the hall and into the kitchen, all of which were covered in the afore mentioned waste.
I got as far as the washing machine but was not prepared to knell down on the floor let alone pull it out, but the smell was turning my guts so i made my excuse to return to the van and called the office, they agreed so i left.Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?
