ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF 860
No used the old one as it was a differant connection.
Would the faulty ntc cause a dead short to trip the breaker?A1TEC
ParticipantRe: How would you deal with a customer like this??
There is a good chance the belt came off because the bearings are probibly shot. 😯
I would get him to spin the drum and see if it is ok without the belt on.
Then tell him it is BER if it is not o.k 😉

Usual place is in the top of the machine, front control panel slides out or pop the lid off.

ParticipantRe: winterhalter – GS29
Stat could be faulty or pressure switch sticking, had plenty with sticking pressure switches due to air chamber being blocked.

So what is the scam here?
However, I wouldn’t mind betting each of their 500 ‘engineers’ have been ‘briefed’ to ensure that motor, drum, module and other such high cost repairs are stamped BER in every instance. And possibly a brand new machine, at a discounted price of course, will be delivered shortly afterwards.WE LIVE ELECTRICALS……!!! 😈
Thats what i thought. 😆

So what is the scam here? Will they over price the spares so that the customer does not go ahead, then claim the £59.00 call out.
Good money if you can get away with it. 😯
