Thats funny suedehead1, but were replacing our kitchen and that manky almond colour just doesn’t go with our modern maple units and stainless appliances.

How about Samsung or LG? Or should we pay extra for the Maytag?

Richard, we have an old Hoover AC180, its lasted my parents 15 years, (only 2 years behind me) and i can honestly say, its been a good machine, but its developed quite a major fault, which is posted somewhere in this forum. Hopefully we’ll be getting a brand new Miele W3922WPS washing machine and a T8622C tumbler, what do you think to those?

Ok, then, tell me where we can find one. We were going to get an ASKO dishwasher because they sound great, but no where here would sell them.

sorry helo_75, about that, but when they say they have the cheapest prices in their adverts and they don’t, its a bits misleading. Do you know where my nearest store is, i come from Whitley Bridge in North Yorkshire

    Re: Hotpoint WT761P DEAD!

hey helo_75, Comet isnt that great, because they’re the most expenisve supplier of the Miele washer and dryer that we’re looking at, whereas the place we thought we would be the most expensive (Blackwell & Denton of York) is the cheapest place we’ve found, even cheaper than other places on the Internet

    Re: Hotpoint WT761P DEAD!

Thats the thing with these Hotpoints and Indesits, they can’t be trusted, too much a burden on the environent, if people want a decent machine they should buy a cheap Miele, rather than a Hotpoint or as i call them, an Indes*it. I feel very strongly on this huge problem and its a huge drain on the earths natural resources, Indesit should be told this, then people might put some trust back in to them.

Bring back the good old (British made) Hotpoint’s thats all i can say!!!

    Re: Hoover washing machine overheats

Your right Trilobite, it certainly is 1300 spin, almond and fully electronic. Very early on 15 years ago when i was a wee kid, this was a replacement (courtesly by Hoover) for the 1100 spin version, which again, overheated on a hot wash. Should we keep the machine for now, untill we get a new machine, and on that topic, what are the Miele W3922WPS and the T8622C like, is all the good stuff that ive heard about Miele true, is it worth buying into Miele truthfully?

    Re: Hoover washing machine overheats

the machine is a New Wave. We’ve done a continuatity test on the thermostat, and it seems fine, the wiring seems in tact and the machine gets through the programs sort of, but when a fast spin is selected it doesn’t pump and just seems to go on without any ending. How much is a new timer/control unit, if this is the problem?
