    Re: Advice on changing brushes

Sorry for the late response. I don’t visit too often.
I don’t know the exact model, as I recently binned the plastics, but it looked identical to this.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zanussi-1600- … 4d0e3f72ac

The motor has a shaft on the end which is used for the belt drive.
I cut mine off with a dremmel. Ensure you mask the motor off first, so no metal filings and debris can’t get in etc.

Mine developed another fault this weekend. Upon close inspection, I think it’s because I left the starting capacitor attached to the Zanussi motor.
The PCB also has a starting capacitor, so you might want to consider cutting the one out on the Zanussi motor.

    Hi Martin

And concerning ANY charges that they wish to levy,They MUST advise the customer of any and all charges before carrying out any work what so ever and also give a 14 day cooling off period.Unless a declaimer is used and issued and returned,Which it hasn’t and the customer has stated that he wasn’t even advised of what the costs would be what so ever which is silly of him to even consider going ahead with GLG (” Go Local Group ” )(Assumed ).
They didn’t even ask what model it was..lol

    Hi

It sounds like either one of the sensors or the defrost heater has failed.

We cover the middx area and our email is service@ffrservices.co.uk and we are liebherr authorised engineers.

Not a bad idea. Mind you, ServiceNet then charge a £12.50 cancellation fee taken automatically from their credit card. So at least they will still profit from their referral service.

Only if it isn’t cancelled within 24hrs.

    Hi All

There is always the other option.. Take the call, Phone the customer, get them to allow you to do the work direct with the customer. Tell the customer to cancel the call. Simples

Or there is the option to buy a large lump of ice and put it into a wooden box to keep things cool. 🙂

It’s the same as care 40 other than 40 is propane and R600a is butane .

They still haven’t recovered all the money they spend developing R134a

    Re: Samsung fridge freezer RSG5DURS

This is a known samsung defect from production so I would have chucked it back to samsung to sort out as they are normally hell due to the inconsistencies of parts and possibilities of having to spend more time and parts
