    Powder snow or ice on the top of the evaporator will normally be caused by a fan failure or a premature defrost termination where the defrost sensor is placed at the bottom of the evaporator.

    The photo’s haven’t come through.

    But if the plastic liner has been cut inside the freezer or fridge then this is NOT a recognised or a recommended repair and would make the appliance un repairable. The only was the (expansion vessel)(I take it that its the drier you mean) could crack is that it was over charged and the unit had a blockage.
    The unit if has had the liner repaired in this way is not fit for purpose as it will never cool correctly or efficiently.

    Dave highton is now employed with JTM. He doesn’t actually know what his job is but he’s been given a hire car and e-mail address and picking up a laptop tomorrow.

    As for julian..It was whispered he was going to fridgidaire or Hi Sense with Richard daley but that may not be correct..he’s working heavily with CATA i’m told trying to sort out their mess with parts.

    Dont do anything with the under warranty calls at present as you wont get paid for them.
    It’s not confirmed if Hi Sense have bought frigidaire as yet and if they do will they accept the debts ?

    That’ll probably be Hi Sense then at a quess,The sourcing side which wasn’t included in the list of administration companies.

    Further to that though..JTM did go in to buy it but on friday they could not as (it’s only a rumour though) get the bank to fund it.

    thanks,i think he had been pushing buttons before i got there :rolls:,looking at info from the net,and having a go him self

    what do you mean position 10 ❓ hows that done
    hold in buttons for a few seconds while in position 10 for reading faults. It should clear & read E00 if you’ve done it correctly.

    It has come to agreement with HOOVER / CANDY that IF you have not FULLY submitted your jobs to ISDAL.. ie you complete the call and then by advising complete..that is NOT an invoice. the next step would be ISDAL accepting the details and offering you to fill the date and invoice number.. DO NOT DO IT..

    Leave all details alone and do not update ISDAL what so ever. Hoover Candy will look and check each and everyone on a individual basis to accept to pay the invoice.BUT you must have ALL the details necessary for that call.

    If you had not done so.. too late as there portal is gone..I do hope that the smaller engineers kept the paper copies of the jobs.

    We advise that you screen shot ALL the details open/closed ect and download all details for your records as the administrators will NOT give any notice if and when they close the ISDAL web portal.
