    February 2012

    Hi

I have asked Dave again and it’s Julian who’s putting the wall up but Dave is still trying to work on him about it.

    Re: golocal reactive

Its ok Eddie. I can see where people are coming from and hey, we all want to make sure we are going to get the money we work hard to earn.

Its all experience and hopefully through here we can get some nice working relationships.

Laurence, I’ll take a read through properly tomorrow but it looks interesting.

P.s. in the post above, it should read we started in April 2011, not 2010

Hi Lawrence, I am not aware of the meeting to be honest. Where and what is it?

    Re: Go Local

    Thanks K.

We’re genuinely trying to make a decent go of things and want to be in it for the long haul.

We’re not in the business of making enemies and i can see you have a pretty close group of guys here so i’d rather be open, honest and try and get off on the right foot and if we havn’t then at least try and make it right. The best way to do that is say it how it is.

Hey guys, Daniel from Go local Reactive LTD here.

I wanted to join to try and clear a few things up and it’s easier in a public forum to make one statement to all concerned.

I’ll start at the top and work down.

We are a fairly new company, started by myself in my bedroom back in April 2010. It was just an idea and i didn’t have any working knowledge so kind of learnt as i went. The grand plan is to (one day) be like the AA and able to offer any service to anyone in the UK, any time. Thats obviously, a hell of a way off but Soon enough i needed help and took the usual route of hiring someone. Back then and for a while after, we were working with Mike from msappliances. Good guy, and to be fair to him we were massively disorganised and it probably was a real hassle to work with us. This was a result of us working with one pc, one desk and a phone. Nothing else.

To clarify things website wise, golocalreactive.co.uk is not finished, we get most of our work from the web and that site is not designed to pick up enquiries so its getting finished last. The main appliance site is go-localuk.co.uk.

We did recently move office. This was due to the company we leased our space from (mad about cards ltd) going into liquidation. As it was a sudden move we had no phone lines in the new space so had to wait for BT and only had them installed Friday last week. During this time we were pretty incontestable… it was a real kerfuffle.

We don’t try to dodge paying for anything but we could certainly be more organised and i think this is a bit of a failing overall. We still operate from a tiny office with a handfull of staff and we’re still learning as we go. I apologise if anyones had a rough ride with us.

I hope that clears things up, at least a little.

buy the cap from here. and dont worry too much about the extra 1/2 farad

    Thanks for your help!

I thought that the capacitor was on its last legs alright!

I take it there is no issue with polarity on these caps?

    HI

The brown goods side has ceased trading which was decided to end that side of the business last year and the engineers for the brown goods side have been made redundant.

check you got breakfast included Alex, I was stung with a £17 bill a while back after booking without the code.

If you’d told me I could have sorted it..
