Common for the relay wire to heat up and just come off.

Common problem..door hinges have failed normally caused by children standing / stepping or house holder leaning on the door whilst loading / emptying it whilst the door is open.

Its a double switch that operates the fridge on one side and freezer on other. and yes.If its the freezer switch you can alsways bypass it and make it as if the door is closed if the customer doesnt mind not having the light on.

i remember i was working on an old hotpoint 9934 , the belt had dropped down the back so i had my arm stuck down there picking it up
“do you want a cuppa?” the nice lady asked, at the same time as plugging in the washing machine instead of the kettle…
if there was a competion as to how far you can launch a washing machine while being shocked i would win the gold medal…

Home now. The markings I’ve found on the back are as follows:
On the sticker with the bar code: L2 (54728) WMD960P 811050240
On the Electrical compliance sticker: 195049127 (that bit is only half printed on the sticker – misalignment with the printer) Type LB2006TRF
