    .
Cannot possibly justify Lees £3000+ per annum advertising costs for my situation, thats nearly half the price of a decent cruise. 😀

We cut our advertsing Budget from just over 20k to just over 12k per annum and have been busy with work, with the odd slow day, however im sat in the office on a Sunday away from the family trying to get all the engineeers booked up for tomorow, im not used to this and i dont like it 😡

Isn’t any info about service mode on this model 😥 …

Not unknown to be barking up the wrong tree though.

After couple of minutes compressor starts…reasons for fan not starting:
    1) one or both doors aren’t closed (or Pcb isn’t reading that/ magnetic read relee )
    2) freezer temperature sensor isn’t working
    3) Fan damaged or his wires/couplings
    4) main PCB

The only effect it may have on sales per say, is that people might spend a bit more, but I doubt it, they’d likely just count their chickens for the tax refund.

In the end, that’s what it is, a tax refund.

The tax still has to be paid, the government still has to find that money to meet its budget and, while it may well do you a short term favour (very “maybe”) but there will be long term pain in return as the government claws it back.

Asides from which the premise, as presented from what I’ve seen from the BRC, is ludicrous from an eco standpoint. It’s also, IMO, ludicrous from a sales standpoint, it’s unlikely to encourage much of anything.

People don’t just wake up one morning and think, “oh bother, that old washer looks a bit shabby, I think I’ll go buy a new one.”

People need a stimulus to spend on appliances, normally as they NEED to spend that money through failure or moving home. Without the stimulus to generate the interest and this isn’t it. All this is liable to be viewed as is a short term discount that just devalues the product further.

    K.

me thinks the same as you on this one………..if it is not broken then why get another machine thats only going to have a small amount of money taken off ……..

Ovens were absolute rubbish, edges sharp as razors, all cables inside too tight and take any cover off and the whole thing goes out of shape and thats if you could get the screws out as they had been put in so hard that they just turn but don’t extract. Neons used to flicker all the time ,even when the appliance was selected off………..

I don’t slag off many appliances but these were something else….
