    Hi

Check your filter for blockages, coins, elastic bands, nails, screws, eat.

Don’t just pull the filter out and expect that you’ve got everything..Get on your knees and shine a torch into the filter holder in the machine.

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

    No Martin

It is as stated .. Nothing has been advised or released by hotpoint.. It is rumours of what the mod is. Yes we know there is a recall going ahead but NOTHING has been said what it is. But at any point it wont involve you as you don’t work with manufacturers or warranty work.

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

Can someone please detail for me what the ‘recall’ involves exactly?

I wouldn’t think it would actually be anything you would be interested in Martin as you don’t carry out contract work or work under guarantee.

But nothing has been officially been released as yet concerning it.

    Hi

This is a simple mechanical timer and thermostat model. it will probably be the defrost heater/thermal fuse/defrost timer/defrost termination.
It has 2 defrost thermal fuses,a drain heater and defrost heater.simple to test each item.

We was doing approx 90+ per week samsung mods and they still only got about 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} done and that took several years

Re: Samsung RL39WBSW not cooling or freezing

    Hi

Does it work for about 15 hours then stop working until you switch it off then on again ?.

If it does then it’s more likely the heater/sensor/thermal fuse. If you don’t know how to test them then it’s a complete unit.
