I have a Margherita 2000 AL128D
I’m wondering where the filter is so that I can clean it.

I would like to bench test the motor and short of having a test plug,do you know how to wire in a 3 pin plug into the motor.

yes martin…as long as the dunroamin is on the digi map it will accept it.
sometimes I get a call to 109 when the digi map only see 107…easy go to 107 and carry on going for 30 yds.(yds is yards ..just less than a metre and roughly the same as 3 feet for all you sprogs with hair((lucky barstewards))

Yep you were right a right s”d of a job. In fact after 5 hours of working on the machine today its outside in a state i can only describe as carnage.

In a way its a lesson learned.
We now insist on payment upon completion or a deposit as spares are ordered. This way you can remove the parts or not order them. However over the years we know who we can leave a bill for and where not to.
Best way is to call at their door around 6pm and demand payment, let them know that you will call again at 9am saturday in full view of the neighbours.
After that write it off.
on the positive side at least there arn’t too many arse’oles out there

The agenda is to trial run auto’s. So we can toss it around and see how it goes…make mistakes and learn from them, learn to write better.

I have a factory fit Mercedes unit in my van, haven’t a clue who makes it. What I do know is that it does not preclude a little common sense being used when using it. The “shortest route” option is fantastic on mine…quickly recalculating when I do not take the obvious track across a field. I don’t bother with postcodes, just put in the number and street.
When added to my local knowledge of my area its a powerful tool….Although not in my “toolbox”
If it could receive my work and talk to my server, print out my jobs and tell me how to fix em….well, I’d wash the van to make it look the part too.

i have cleaned out the plastic pipery/chambers found on the machines right side. What a load of gunk in the pipe from the sump to the diaphram/ overlevel chamber. How must my artries look!
All cleaned reasembled and reconnected incl diaphram microswirch & Float switch.
Now, when the machine starts to fill ,the chamber fills up quickly the float switch operates, the diaphram fills out and operates its microsw. However the float sw seems to operate the exhaust pump. Thus the machine never fills. Its as though the chamber fills too quickly! the cold feed pressure is not excessive.
Any other suggestions please, i am getting really close.Cheers

The thermostat/thermistor in the door doesn’t appear to change state when put in hot water. It is constantly open. Tried to bypass it by linking two wires and running quick program but still got an error code.

Penguin, I now find out that when delivering the FF it had to be turned on its side to get through our gate! As well as that, my husband switched it on for five to ten minutes after installing it, then realised his mistake (finally found the bit in the manual that said leave it for thirty minutes – surprising Bosch don’t recommend leaving it for longer than that), switched it off, left it for one hour then turned it on again. Could this have messed things up – might things have got into parts they shouldn’t – and would it eventually sort itself out? Ooh er… . It’s now been going for five days and the pattern seems to be we have one hour or hour and a half making simmering noises followed by an hour totally silent, and the background hum of presumably the motor has got very slightly louder.
