Silly me – the Green Spot is a One Shot – must of got pushed in on packing or in the post.
A damn expensive game at £16 a go.
Got them from The Service Centre, so I guess they’ll change them for me???

Many thanks for your helpful reply. It does somewhat confirm the theory as to why this part has failed repeatedly.

Martin surely a sponser can sponser whatever he chooses to…..
Why type cast…..
and besides now that the first sponser is on site ..it opens the path for others to follow(we hope)

KeymasterRe: Anonymity
I would like to endorse what has just been said. Until recently I worked for a Manufacturer who has warned its network of posting any adverse comment on this website. The area manager involved works for a massive manufacturer who I can’t name cause they’d want to sue the a*** of me and its so counter productive. How effective is a network that can’t profit from being open and honest instead of hiding from the gremlins in their own cupboards.
To all those who want to remain anomymous…well ok its your call and when you are able to change your log in site admin will oblige…just ask.

KeymasterRe: Diplomat ADP 8132 – anyone want mine?
Hi – the symptons were that the machine failed to drain and 3 lamps on the programme array would light dimly almost as if they were “shorting out”.
The engineer on the first visit fiddled around underneath the machine and prodded with a test meter sundry circuits. When the front cover was removed he placed probes over the timer assembly and “diagnosed” the fault. A timer was ordered and he pomptly failed to return on the following week, but managed to struggle in on the week following 6 hours later than his “firm” appointment.
Every call out since that time, exactly the same faults were “diagnosed” to the timer.
I do not have confidence in the machine and most certainly not with the cretin masquerading as mechanic, for engineer would insult those, like you who are competent and professional.
So, go on tell me I have needlessly bought a Siemens machine!!!! I might just have a quiet word with MFI – although I did notice that 2 senior exec’s today were fired (fell on their sword).
Thanks for a great site.
If you are thinking about buying shares in MFI, wait. Profit warnings come in threes and the shares from a Technical perspective are not suggesting that the downtrend has been reversed. It is not unusual for the share price to drop a further 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} – 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} over the next month. Once the SP has truly bottommed out, and has climbed above the 50 day moving average, then it might be worth considering bunging a few bob at the shares. Don’t know what your circumstamces are, but I wouldn’t touch this company at the moment…..

KeymasterRe: Ariston AWD 12 – smelly!
Thanks for that…I’m not really that interested in getting a refund, it was just out of interest, and it may be common practice but I’m still not convinced its fair or even legal (ref. DTI web site).
Anyway, as to the smell, I would be interested to know if anyone else has come across this. It’s definately not misuse – it’s done it from new.
Thanks again.

KeymasterRe: Nilfisk GM410 Vacuum cleaner motor bearings
Hi Penguin,
The new Bosch is a bewdy, more spin than Shane Warne, only complaint would be the turbine like noise at full spin but the laundry is in a separate room so it’s not a huge problem .
The old Bosch sits out on the back verandah 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} repaired…..I’ve a problem with the door switch but this has been the coldest, wetest winter for decades so it can wait till Spring kicks in.
I’m hoping the Nilfisk motor is held together with long screws through the field coils. If that’s the case then it may be possible to drill an access hole through the fan assembly and patch it up after. There is plenty of meat on the brushes (it’s only 6 years old) and I reckon they will slide back up the holders.
I took the HEPA filter out some years ago when it clogged & didn’t get around to replacing it so I figure it’s been working its guts out at much higher revs ever since. Surprisingly there was very little dust in the motor assembly.

KeymasterRe: Looking for Oven Element for Proline EF9000B/1
woz wrote:Sorry if this has already been sorted.
The oven was actually supplied by B&Q when they pulled out of buying appliances from Bernsteins.
It’s actually made by an italian company call TERIM spa.
Part number for that model is 521049.
Whirlpool are now the service organisation for these products after B&Q pulled out of Caremark. (sorry no number for whirlpool)
Hope thats spread a little light
