I do and am sure it probably seems very novice. Still, very grateful for the advise.

Thanks… Great help as I’ve never worked on one. This looks in really good condition for its age, so I really want to fix it.

    Hi
    Thanks for the advice.
Got her the Samsung a few weeks ago as she was set on having it after seeing reviews on the internet.
Don’t know about Beko washer dryers. Usually sell Bosch ones where I can but will have a look at Fagor in future.
    Thanks again

    Re: Indesit IWC6105

Hi.. Yep, water emptied and filter cleared as when I first moved it I could hear coins in the sump hose. Didn’t re-set the pressure switch but did disconnect the hose to check it wasn’t blocked at the bottom. The pcb was off a machine with the bearings failed which I always do when I go out to them, so can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. Looks like that may be the problem. Going back tomorrow to have another look. Thanks for your help..

    Re: Merc Vito 113

Its the injectors and fuel pump that have made me decide to change. Apparently a lot of injector problems arise from the fuel pump starting to fail and bits of it getting into the fuel lines. A quote of £1800 (worst case scenario) was enough for me to decide to get rid of it as its not worth much anymore.

Got told to change the transmission oil in it every 30k as they can fail early too. Seems to have worked as its the best part of the van.

Did buy it cheap at 9 month old with 15000 miles for £7100 + vat so can’t complain too much.

That’s what I’m after; something that I don’t get into with the fear that another expensive repair is just around the corner which seems to be the case with the Vivaro/Trafic/Primastar range. I know you can be unlucky but a pal that’s an electrican got his the year before me (Trafic)new and he’s had a new engine costing £4k at 80,000 plus power steering pump and starter before that.
Think a vito it is then….

    Re: Hotpoint TCL770

Customer just called to say all is fine and the dryer is heating. Got a feeling that it may be short lived as it heated when I tested it at the start then was cold 15 mins later.
Had a look on connect for the sensor and it is out of stock so won’t have one to go back with.
Does anyone know if there’s a known problem with these sensors like the washer dryer NTCs or is there cases of pcb problems related to sensing the the mositure and mass of the load?
Sorry for the amount of questions… I’ve only ever dealt with faults on the older system.
    thanks for any help

Usually one a week for all sorts of reasons from dead to interlocks. Can fix some but not many.
