Re: Siemens WK61420/GB12 Integrated Washing Machine

Went back to this today. Pump seemed fine but changed it just in case. It didn’t solve it and I couldn’t find fault elsewhere so put it down to the module and replaced the machine.

    Hi Martin
Impellor seemed fine but I’ll have a better look tomorrow when I have the joy of pulling it out. Never had anything unusual on one of these or the Bosch branded one so I’m sure it will be straight forward.
    Thanks

That’s what I found. It improved some slightly but nothing on most.
    Thanks

Re: Hoover OPH, VHD & WMH + Candy models

Sorry to bring this back up….
Must do at least one of these a week and having little success in repairing the selector so have been replacing the full facia pcb. I’ve used pcb cleaner on some and its worked but with very limited success.
Does anyone have any other methods or is just a case of replacing?
    Thanks
    Dave

I wear dark grey trainers. I don’t think they look unprofessional and they’re comfy. If you have a look for shoes with vibrant soles, they may be a good alternative.

Re: Connect (DPD) 7am wake up texts

I use connect primarily because of the delivery system. Didn’t know qualtex did the same so may give that a go.
Problem here is the DPD driver gives you 5 seconds to get to the door before he sprints off to deliver the other 100 parcels he has to get in before 5pm.
Can connect instruct DPD to drop off without a signature?

I repair the appliances in a student apartment block with 84 of these. It spooked me a bit too at the start but they do it (didn’t know it was called thermospin though).

    Hi
I doubt it as I was past it yesterday, unless they are trading from sonewhere else.
They had a pile of online stuff including a lot of websites done last year. Looks like they threw a fortune at it and many of the websites now take up a lot of space on the first page of google (should have tried to buy their numbers when they went pop!).

However, good luck to them if they are. It was very handy for spares when I was stuck.

    Thanks Don
Only other number I have is 26100027. It’s a quote for a letting agent so I haven’t seen the oven and couldn’t find an element on connect.
    Thanks
    Dave.

    Re: Hotpoint WMD960 – F10

Thanks mate, appreciate the quick response. I’ve done couple with f10 but they have always had a welded drum and none older than a wml540. Usually a good clean out works but this one as you say looks like a replacement board. Thanks…Dave

Thanks….. Got a feeling the whole top loader experience could be over for her. The one she’s got is a 10kg which she found out about on hols in America somewhere and the capacity was the thing that she was after. I’ve got a few options together for her now including ISE washer & dryer.
