    Re: Bosch turning to gold?

I’ve only just discovered this, otherwise I would have answered it in the beginning. The Zeolite (aka Xeolite) crystals in the resin container has become leached. If you look at the crystals they should be the colour of demera sugar, but if thay have expired will be very dark almost like molasses.

The cause; simply by age, non use of regeneration salts or plumbed to hot water.

The fix; renew the salt regeneration chamber and advise on use of salt etc.

Overall the clour will take an age to go, as it is due to staining from the rust from water supply over a period of time.

Very good site, I note in association with 4Ourhouse, and we all know who that is. If you are not sure, dig a bit deeper, you will recognise the site. Even the DHL Delivery guy at the bottom of the manufacturers list for spares looks familiar.

As the Penguin says, this is for retail etc. UKW Users do indeed use their preferred supplier and naturally shop around.

    Re: F#$king small claims court

Regretfully the court can do it their way as after all they are following procedure to the letter, and if anyone knows the law, it should be them.

If you submit a defence however, they will look at your side sympathetically. I know you don’t want to hear this, but I guess you may be on a loser, as you need documentation, and that seems to be lacking. You should keep all records of accounting transactions for at least 7 years and failure to provide such evidence may look bad for you as well.

I’ve just hit the link. Another one bites the dust

I didn’t know they were related either, we know them from supplying kitchen companies as well as Peveral Management for McCarthy Stone retirement properties.

    Re: Performing Rights Society

So cutting to the chase, can I listen to MY Radio in My office, because that is what it amounts to.

Taking it further, there are 2 girls in another office who sometimes put on a radio if they remember, they are the only 2 that can hear it.

What about in my car (windows closed), playing a C.D. and there are 4 people in that car? That surely matches the criteria as the 2 girls in the office.

As I’ve stressed, I’ve paid my share in buying everything legitimately as regards my personal collection. I have NO intention of paying this, EVER! I will simply remove the radio.

What a poor website indeed. I see the suggestion whilst on the website where you can visit it? Bit like pressing interactive services on your Sky+ box when it is locked up, and you cannot use it at all.

Note the spelling of “lour” website?

Take full advantage and call us today on 01443 841865 or alternatively visit lour website at http://www.credittheftuk.com

Then throw in an american spell check. Must be lost in translation from Welsh.

Isn’t it funny that both threads out there on this suddenly died? Was it something someone said?

The You-Tube one, I can see the point in that. However listening to the radio which is there just for that purpose, is taking it too far.

Waiting for my collar to be felt now I assume.

    Re: Performing Rights Society

You see, I have no problem in rewarding people for the entertainment they give me. Some if it is well deserved. That is why if I hear something that appeals, I get the CD. Classic of that is Seldom Seen Kid from Elbow. Best album I’ve heard in a while and how dare anyone get it for free. The money I have put into the music industry in the last 50 years I think is plenty enough. If it wasn’t for incidental music such as this, I would never pick up on what I feel is a good tune, and subsequently go out and buy it. Therefore the purveyors of the music will lose out. If we can’t access it we are not drawn towards buying it. Conversely if we are not allowed to listen to it, then what is the point in having all these radio stations?

My doctors’ surgery used to have radio 2 in the waiting room. Now it is like sitting in the undertakers, all you hear now is coughing & wheezing. We are supposed to live in a modern happy country with music, birds a singing and all things cheerful. Now we have a morose premier, I suppose we all have to go round in silence with long faces, and all dressed in black or grey.

This is plainly appropriate in hairdressers etc. Along with pubs, shops amusement arcades etc. I see the point. However to pick on someone in their own private office, out of the public domain with a tranny on in the background is taking it to the extreme. If it is mandatory, then I shall take the radio out of the office.

So what about mobiles and the ring tones, people whistling in the street; this begs the question, how much is it costing to implement this, and is it ever worth it?

This to me is steering us to an autocratic society, I thought Leonid Brezhnev and his type were long gone. Perhaps we ought to move to North Korea.

There will be no winners in this, only losers.

    Re: Performing Rights Society

I guess they could be serious, but what happens next?

I suppose they visit my office, look around and then set about procedures because myself in MY office where I happen to have a radio on. (The office is well away from the public areas being the sales & trade counter)

For a start they cannot enter my premises without a warrant, so I can ask them whilst standing in the public area, “Radio, what Radio, can you hear one”? If they do insist on entry to the other end of my building and have the appropriate documentation, you can bet your life I will invite the media.

Another stealth tax as far as I’m concerned.

    Re: national service

I’m glad I didn’t give this lot a try from what I can see! Isn’t it surprising what crawls out of the woodwork sometimes.

Iv’e been too busy to look at what the work was, and what is on offer; as soon as I saw Necht, Thanks but no Thanks. Done work on that brand before for other service companies, one such company was in North Devon or Cornwall, can’t really remember. I discovered after not getting paid that they used to use another service provider just north of me, who binned them due to not getting paid either.

I know that was history, but leopard and spots as far as I’m concerned. I remember watching a Channnel 4 programme regards an individual from the North West who went to China to screw the appliance prices down to as low as possible in order to increase yet more of a margin, and every other word in his limited vocabluary started with an EFF.

Of course you pays your money & takes your choice. Perhaps things have radically changed and there has been a divorce, but somehow I don’t think so.
