Well…
He’s done it now! He has proverbially done a sh1t in his own nest with Repaircare now.
Done a cracking post on the Repaircare talk web forums approximately an hour ago which no doubt will “disappear” before too long.
He done the same when he was offered the Service Force agency, and managed to upset not only them but D&G as well as Beko, not so much for letting them down by returning a load of work, but by the manner he shouted his mouth off.
Will he ever learn? Somehow I don’t think so.
I have copied & pasted his posting B.T.W. as I’m sure will suddenly evaporate.

Phew, my neighbour handed me a slide rule the other day, picked it up & used it just like that.
Re computers. I still have a Sinclair Spectrum 128 in the attic complete with interface, separate cassette recorder, 2 joysticks, loads of games etc. Bought in mid 80’s when the kids were young.
Waiting for it to become more of a collectors piece on E-Bay.

Tina had a terrible sickness record. She turned up for work last Tuesday (11th)after another bout of sickness & handed in her notice.
She has been replaced by someone who was already in the building. Paul Topham is the name, and he tells me there is another, a general assistant who works with all managers, he is called John.

ParticipantRe: What was the best machine ?
Question is a bit like “Who was your favourite Bond”? Most would say the first one they ever saw.
I think with this, those that grew up with the old Hoover/Hotpoints of the 60’s 70’s would give their favourites.
With Hoover, I would think they each had their own strong & weak points. The good old 3224/3226 were over-engineered lovely bit of kit but a lot to go wrong.
The next generation with the planet gears etc on the motor, 3208, 3203H, 3223H etc were a nightmare. Rusting tubs, poor quality timers, motor clutches noisy etc.
Then there was the “Matchbox” range, 3236H, 3243H etc. These were my favourites. Not for reliability, but were very functional, and fairly easy to work on.
Evolved into the 100 range, then it started to go pear-shaped. Poor bearings (tapered) design, A3008, A3060/3062. Then the 80’s with A3112 etc with poor mechanism on fascia/control for the door opening due to the plastic fulcrum that used to break.
I suspect a lot of answers will come from engineers who were familiar with the product & loved working on them.

Very few calls from them, but good payers etc.

ParticipantRe: Asko and ISE made in Slovenia?
Furthermore the Gorenje factory in Valenje is exceptionally clean and modern.
I was impressed by the work ethic among all the workers from production to senior management.

I’ll stick to my definition of CF then. More apt I think.

ParticipantRe: Our Adrian
He sent me an e-mail where he complained about his title change on UKW (Among other things) and where posts that were not attributed to him, now appear that way. Meaning “It wasn’t me Guv, It was Washdoctor”! I suppose he could say “A big naughty boy done it and ran away”
He must be Schizophrenic.
Just out of interest, why was he changed from Adrian Whelke to Adrian CF under the Fozzy Bear avatar?
I get why he was changed from Washdoctor to Wadrian Whelke, but cannot work out the CF. Unless it was C**t Features!

He also registered the .com extensions as well. Whether or not he actually does anything with them, well, we’ll see.
K.
Easy to see what he is attempting to do, my point is if he hasn’t actually gotten round to it, perhaps an idea if someone beats him to it and take up these domain names before he does?
Or has he actually done it, and the links are not up to date as they still appear to be unassigned.

Bloke’s a nutter
Just tried out his three new web-sites, and as yet not registered.
What I don’t get is, why did he tell you before actually registering the sites himself? There again he is an idiot!
Perhaps an idea to add them ourselves as a precautionary measure, and to piss him off.

ParticipantRe: Yell.Com
I have the absolute minimum on Yell.com with a link to my website.
Looking at Google analytics, not one referral or redirection from Yell.com to my website in the last 12 months.
Yellow pages, straight into the recycling bin, but I did take the wrapper off first.

We don’t understand it Alex as we hold the old Zanussi mantra of you “don’t f*** with another agent’s area…. or else”. So the dog eat dog shenanigans of these muppets is an alien concept to us.
That still prevails among those of us in Service Force land

I’ve never been able to stoop to those levels and hopefully never ever will, even when provoked.
It is an age thing.
kwatt wrote:Given that, I’m sure you can understand why people like that wouldn’t have access here.
K.Pleased to hear it, had enough trouble with Taffy-Boy, and have learned a lesson in not suggesting who is party to this little enclave.

Well said.
I was not part of either the group of 6 or party to the original set up of all this, simply due to geography. To be honest until tonight I was unaware of said existence.
Suffice to say though that reading between the lines one or two has extracted the urine.
I suspect they may well be subscribers to the forum, even if not active members. I trust they do not have the privilege of the War Room however.
