ParticipantTest the pump 33ohms
Test the water Solenoids 15ohms
Test the motor 12.2 ohms
Test no short to earth
If all are ok then a new control board is required
Not an uncommon problem
The fuse is only there to protect the electronics so when that blows the electronics is generally gone
Always switch off when not in use to preserve electronics on appliances
Always switch off prior to testing :zap: :zap: :zap:alexa

ParticipantPower on and only one led, beeping, start pause does nothing?
This is not the fault code.
Turn off at wall for 5 seconds then turn on again.
If not normal new board required.alexa
ParticipantCouldn’t sell the new machines.
Also no body wanted to repair the ones they had so no spares required eitheralexa
ParticipantToo much time doing the right thing on here and not enough time looking after yourself?

ParticipantWe tend to not have built in washing machines.
Also front loaders tend to be in the minority.
Top loaders make up 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the market. (F&P have 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of this top loader market)
Front loaders are free standing beside a cupboard so its just as easy to take the machine or the part back to the workshop to remove the old bearings. The front loaders tend to be the high end of the market. (Bosch Miele Asko)
All this means that it is uncommon for us to do a bearing change on a front loader maybe 1 in 400 jobs. (Hoover)
This means that we are not so geared up in the vehicles to do a bearing knock out.
Also for a customer to see you “destroying” their machine would give your opposition a field day. (Nah we don’t do that! I wouldn’t use them! Contact Watchdog! Cowboys!)alexa

What are “the benefits” and what can we/you “expand on”.
This might give you something to do with the subscribers money and also tidy up a few other loose ends as well.“DOUBLE THE WARRANTY”
Employ a UKW member/subsriber through repairs@ and UKW will double the warranty
WHO ELSE CAN GIVE THIS LEVEL OF SECURITY??
ALL UKW MEMBERS GUARANTEE THEIR WORK IN WRITING
UKWHITEGOODS ALSO GUARANTEES ALL MEMBERS’ WORK
A DOUBLE GUARANTEE
FAULTY WORK WILL BE RECTIFIED BY UKW AT NO FURTHER COST TO THE CONSUMER IF FOR ANY REASON THE MEMBER WHO DID THE ORIGINAL WORK CAN NOT OR WILL NOT FIX A FAULTY REPAIR.
SO, DON’T GET A SHONKY REPAIRER TO FIX YOUR VALUABLE APPLIANCES
GET AN UKW MEMBER AND KNOW FOR SURE THE JOB WILL BE DONE PROPERLY
DOUBLE THE WARRANTY DOUBLE THE SECURITYalexa
ParticipantThe casual public viewer might get the impression from the new front page that this is not a public site.
No real mention of the public forums.
Are the stats are down because of this?
Is this intentional?
How about a Public Forums button up top?

I think the problem is solved, I have done 3 loads, and all seems to be working fine. The problem was as the machine said (code 11). Tub needs to be empty before connecting the new motor control.
Thank you very much with your help. You have saved me money and face.
P.S. almost upset that the problem was`nt a bit more challenging !!!!alexa

Participantkwatt wrote:you can bet your ass that some people are REALLY scared of us getting organised as we would be a force to be reckoned with.
The crux of the matter
Not that you aren’t organised but as I’ve posted before
“what are your aims”
“where is your prioritised agenda”
“what would have the most impact with the least amount of work”Probably difficult but I’d like to see a survey posted (with a link on the front page) where visitors rate their best and worst appliance brand.
Then perhaps their best and worst work provider.alexa
