    Re: Servicepower

Seems to be a lot of politics that go with this crowd, but from our experience they are ok.

Closure is online through a not-too-bad web portal, and payment roles in like clockwork.

my advice, listen to the man & give it a try if it sounds ok for you.

most of the calls we get are inspections and that suites us just fine

check rinse aid & salt levels, if you dont get a fault code thrown up its lightly to be one of those two

    Hi,

Its all bad news I’m afraid – you must change both front and back boards now there are no other options!

    Back – 481221778192 £74.79 + vat + delivery
    Front – 481245228617 £122.79 + vat + delivery

Delivery for these two would be about £7 by courier or half that by post.

    delivery usually 3-4 days

    Hi Nik,

    Pull the plug out

    check the plug is out!

Element is accessable from inside (you need to be very careful pulling away from rear wall as if the wires dont come through, you have to take the back off)

Part is available, £32.41 + vat and p&p

    Re: Who designs Whitegoods ?

    Sorry guys, dont even try

In a previous life, I met several designers and they all have a very clear view of the world – their product is great, its the customers that cause problems. Engineers do not come into the equation

Great examples on being asked for feedback on diswahers:

    – asking for the sharp edges to be removed and the response was no, as only 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} ever fail – its not cost effective. next time you loose a couple of fingers, at least you can be safe in the knowledge that 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the products will not hurt you!!!
    – asking for the spray arms to be made bigger so the food can be cleaned out, to be told that the customer must wash dishes first as even a grain of rice must not go in…. and the next step was SMALLER arms to reduce water consumption.

and so on, i am still in theropy

Re: Whirlpool DWFB10 stopping with beeps and 4 x LED flash

that will be an ‘F4’ – draining failure

does the appliance drain out fully?

If no – check filters + drain hose (also if conected to sink the spiggot) for blockages & kinks

If yes, could be the level sensor jammed up with grease (happens ifyou use the cooler washes a lot). Try pouring some hot (70 deg) water into the base – but not too much, only 1 inch over the filter!

if neither works – call an engineer!
