    mmmmmm,

Sounds like the door hinges are slightly bent – when the door is fully open it should be horizontal – if it is angled down (even slightly) the hinges are bent. Always worth checking the top basket isn’t at fault as well – if its sticking out it stops the door closing (try removing it completely and push the runners back in)

    Hi Byran,

One to look for is the small lead between the timer & user board – we have a lot of success just removing, turning it around and re connecting (the plugs are the same both ends)

Dont know why, maybe its just a bad connection, but it seems to work!

Re: AWZ541/3 Whirlpool Condenser Dryer Help !

As above, the only other thing to try is the appliance may have gone into overfill – you have emptied the bottle, but the sump is still full.

Solution is to set timer to near end – look for the bucket symbol with the arrow pointing down (and I think the early versions were missaligned so it may be one click before or after)

If yiou hit it right, pump should run.

Only other that comes to mind is the float in the sump (front right corner)goes heavy & shrinks if the use certain body creams, worth a look (the float controls the microswitch that brings on the light).

    Good luck!

Re: Whirlpool American F’Freezer Fault code?

    Hi,

Yep, its the filter indicator – F99 is a new filter, F1 is a filter that needs replacing – its all done on a time basis (6 months)- if the water dispenser is not used it still counts down

From memory, press & hold ‘OK’ to reset after replacing the filter

If you need any filters, let me know by pm

    Thanks

Also be careful with the wires between the c/b & the flowmeter card, we sometimes get problems there
