Getting back to the fault could F15 be generated by an open circuit dryer element ?

    Re: New appliances

I have moved to new appliances in the last 12 months due to lack of raw stuff and TBH i don’t usually have time to recon, busy doing service work.
I was buying in recon appliances but the agro was unreal for the profit involved, i was going back to m/c’s way too often.
The profit on new appliances is not always great but it free’s up my time for service work were the margins are good and occasionally you can remove a tidy m/c for reconditioning when installing a new one……. 😀

You need to count how many times it flashes inside a 15 second period.

A few months back i was sexually harrassed whilst fitting a cooker for the social services branch of the local authority.
The 72 year old woman, (im 37 by the way) i was later told unofficially by her support worker had a drink problem !
I can laugh about this now but at the time it wasn’t very funny, being quizzed about my sex life and at one point she even made a grab for me when i was bent down wireing the cooker in 😯
Thankfully i have a FEMALE co worker who was present throughout this, however when i was reporting these events back to the support worker she informed me they had a young lad going round to fit a carpet for her the next day. She left my shop giggling to herself…… 😆

Once again thanks for the help Martin, I have fitted those askoll’s with the toc in the past i think.
Would it not cut down on board problems though if all pumps came fitted with a cut out or am i clutching at straws here ❓

I would like to add that i think ive solved this one now.
Called back to m/c at weekend customer complaining of popping noise now.
Sure enough motor clicking when i turned the drum, previously i had examined the motor (not carefully enough ?) and insulation tested it. Motor now ordered, thanks for the help everyone.. 😀

Re: Board damage due to power cut/surge.

Thanks for your advice guys, customer did contact electricity supplier prior to repair and they did admit power cut in area at the time but advised the lady to claim on her insurance.
As the policy excess was more than repair the customer is not happy.
So far nobody has come forward with similar problems but there have been reports of lights flicking on/off.
I think the customer is going to leave it there but it does seem a little harsh. 😥

Havent been to a festival for 10 years but we decided to get v tickets this year. I think it’ll make a change taking the wife & son, a bit different from the old days with my drunken buddys. 😉
