Is it a single or double? If single, it’s a diamond H 48ER101CP. Connect ele4115 or C00229540.
If double, it’s an EGO 50.55073.010 connect ele4114 or C00255832.AMS

I dunno Jim, it’s a bit of a weird one. I went out to it a few weeks ago for “program taking a long time ” problem. Checked it over and couldn’t find anything wrong, no fault codes etc. Self tests worked ok. She phoned me yesterday to tell me what it was doing as she watched it happen. I’m presuming one of the boards, but which one? Reluctant to get too involved as it is an oldish machine, but otherwise lightly used and in good nick.

E-mailed Jtm – no response. Called on 0870 7749202 to hear a recorded message tell me that the number had changed to 08448 111448. Called this and a young lady answered the phone with”0800 repair?”. Don’t sell Luxor spares, only do the “full repair service”.
Does anyone know where I can get a bl**dy door handle for a Luxor LW105 washer before I scrap it for want of a poxy door handle?AMS

Depends on what make of motor is fitted. If it’s a Sole(probably), then the brushes are 50265481007 or connect’s cbn9052. Might not be a sole motor though. Best do a physical check.

I used to be of the same opinion. Indeed, when they first appeared, they were crap. However, in recent times, they have raised their game, and I consider them now to be perfectly valid alternative to your Hotpoint/Indesits/Hoovers etc, with the added bonus of being more fixable due to their reasonably priced spares.
By the way, I don’t sell any machines, just basing my opinions on fixing them.AMS

DrDill wrote:Personally i think the beko stands out as pretty easy to fix and cheep on parts
So what’s your problem then, DrDill? If it’s best for the customer and returns a good profit, then surely it’s a win-win situation. And a clear conscience.
Also I personally think that sub£350 should not be the cut-off for a”budget brand”. More like sub £250.AMS

Just changed a module on one of these today for that very fault. Worked a treat, and as Seamy says, remarkably cheap!
