ParticipantThanks for that Dave. It’s not unreasonably priced either.
AMS
ParticipantThat’s the impression I’m getting. Bizarre.

Go to the top of the class Clockworkone, it was indeed a broken belt. Never knew it had microswitch to detect a broken belt. Thanks.
Btw, can anyone confirm that 481935818142 is the correct belt?
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks Dave. I did look for a fuse, but I think that’s only in the washing machines. Would need to be bigger than 6.3a in a tumble dryer I would have thought.
AMS
ParticipantThanks Dave. That’s the board that I fitted. I would appreciate it if you could send me the service manual, that would be great. I’ll message you with my email address.

ParticipantThanks for that Dave, at least it shows how the thing is installed. There is a wiring diagram inside the unit and the transformer looks the most obvious. Also, on Connect, it looks like a fairly universal lighting transformer.
AMS
ParticipantThanks guys. Seems ridiculous for a 2 year old machine.

ParticipantI’ve been using a previous model of this for years:

It has served me well but is getting a bit rickety now and I shall replace it with this. Pretty good value as well.
AMS
ParticipantThanks for that.

ParticipantSorry to resurrect an old thread, but I’m having similar problems with one. I changed the wash pump and it seemed ok after, but the customer tels me it’s still not washing properly. Does anyone know why the wash pump is so complex with that pcb inside it? What function does it perform?

Happy retirement Jim, thanks for all your help over the years.

It was subject to a short circuit and is damaged probably beyond repair. It was actually on fire. I’ve sent it to QER but I’m not hopeful. Just have to see what they say. Even an unserviceable board would do – might be able to make one from two.
