Check the mains suppressor, if you’re happy to try if not time to get an engineer

    Re: NEFF Cooker Element

There is no guaranteed life span for an element, like the link don posted it depends on so many things

    Re: aqxxf149pm dampers

They come as a pair with a new plate to fit underneath the cabinet much like the very early hotpoints

Re: Tecnik Oven – Unusually badly warped element

Have never ever had to use it ( and before you say anything lee yes I’m perfectly aware how to ). The only time I could see it of any benefit is if you had a part without anything stamped on it and again I’ve never seen that

It’s supposed to have an 1800w so why bother. Fit the correct one no problem !!

Re: Tecnik Oven – Unusually badly warped element

Went to a beko oven yesterday to fit an 1800w common element and when I stripped it some bodger had some how managed to fit an old style creda 2.5kw one with the centre fixing, I’d say this was warped but I’d have to put the pieces back together to find out, the mind boggles

I certainly wouldn’t be working on it live with no earth connection, like jim said these elements do play up

    Re: Hotpoint WD62

Sounds like wiring problem. Have you double checked where wiring is cable tied to motor, they where prone to rubbing through there
