I cleaned filter this morning but still got e29 (not f29 as per my original post). Customer just texted to say same thing happened on first wash ( she had to press start button when code appeared) but has done 3 more washes with no problem
    Very weird

Have to agree, would be easy to disturb a gas injector or pipe
Would definitely recommend getting a gas safety engineer to do it

I find with pattern brushes I always have to file a bit off edges of brush so it moves easily in the holder

Unbelievable if that’s going on ( or maybe not) but agree I won’t go anywhere near these mods
In fact I am still refusing to repair any that haven’t been done

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

Only yesterday I had a customer ring with an indesit dryer fault, I asked if she had checked for the safety recall and her reply was no because she thought it was only whirlpool dryers

Also check the bottom of pans you are using. Make sure they are flat and not curving slightly

Had this problem with a customer once and put a level across bottom of pan to check, she got a couple new pans and no more problems

I find the white, chalk ones break very easily and you soon finish up with a few small pieces. 🙁

Sorry mid-read didn’t see you changed pump, I know others have changed door lock which cured similar problems
    May be worth a try
