Got the same machine myself. As a temporary measure about 6 months ago I drilled the new cap so it would fit over the fixing bolt and sealed it in place. Worked fine since, I wouldn’t do this for a customer though

Agree with Martin. Had to replace heater assembly on the later model and complete base had to come off. Nightmare

Have completely stopped using them now, qualtex may not stock everything but they seem to get special orders in pretty quick and are always helpful
