I always lease, got a Citroen nemo on a 3 yr lease with an option to buy, £212 a month. Only down side is that it’s smaller than my last berlingo

I must be lucky as I can’t remember walking out on one yet, although I’ve come close a few times. Over the years you tend to learn how to deal with the nightmare customers. I do lots of work for letting agents and mainly students, quite often I will turn up and they say ” the agent hasn’t told me you where coming ” so I just turn round and tell them that’s fine I’ll tell them to let you know which day next week I will call, that normally sorts em out

Went to a dishwasher once that had been out of action for quite a while, it still had water in it or so I thought, I started to drain it with a cup when I felt my hand getting a bit warm, the stupid idiot had put a weak solution of caustic soda in it to try and unblock it. Kept my hand under a cold tap for the next 10 mins. Luckily no lasting damage

Not keen on bearing jobs myself anymore, like Martin said too much hassle for the reward you get. Don’t know what it’s like in the rest of the country but down here anything over about £90 and they run a mile, unless it’s a top range appliance

Almost certainly he’s replaced the cooling fan stat with the wrong one

Just had the opposite. Me ” ill phone as soon as I have part “. 3 days later customer ” is my part in yet “. Me. ” not yet”. Another 2 days another call ” is my part in yet only you said you would phone when you had it “. Do they think I’m going to drive around for days with it on my van
