    Re: De Dietrich DOD338XU11

    Hi Dave,

I presume this is the main oven.

You will need to remove both back panels and both right hand side panels which is very straight forward the lock is situated between the cavities on the right hand side, in order to remove the lock you will need a Torx 20 bit on an angled drive ( or put the bit in the screw and turn with pliers ). To remove the lock easily you will need to remove the screws holding the upper cavity to the side support(again torx 20), this allows the upper cavity to move up enough to remove / replace the lock. Ensure the door is open when you remove the lock. The job should take no more that 15 -20 min from start to finish.

    Hope this helps

    HI,

If you let me have an email address I can send a wiring diagram and flow chart for the appliance. In the mean time it may be worth checking the leak protection switch in the base.

    Hope this helps

    Hi

Do you have amodel number for the machine?

If it has a heater tank with a front mounted heater, it could be the thermostat reset. The reset is situated to the rear of the heater tank. You can (with the mains off) reach behind the tank to the right hand side and reset the stat. If you want to see it, you will have to take off the right hand side panel.

    hope this helps

    Hi,

Water system error is normally a leak from one of the boiler hoses this leaks into the base and is picked up by a sensor. Look beneath the heater and you will see signs if a leak.

    Hope this helps.

Hi, By the description given please look at the flood switch in the base. This will restrict the test program. They can go faulty if in a damp environment and give altering meter readings. If you take the cover off the switch and check for signs of damp.

    hope this helps

    Hi

F 9 relates to the alternating spray motor, this diverts the spray to top or bottom spray arms. If the sump has been removed ensure the o rings are not jamming this motor.

If you need tech info PM me your email address.

    Hope this helps

    Hi M1
It may be worth checking the flow meter is not sticking as the higher level fill is controled by it.
If you let me have your email address I will send a training manual.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Johhny,

Never say never but, it is most unusual for the probes to go out of tollerance. Assuming the probes are ont OC or SC then I would go for the PCB. if you let me have an email addresss I can send the wiring diagram if it helps

    Hope this is of use

    Re: fagor dish-washer

    HI,

If an anomaly causes the anti-overfl ow safety micro-switch to be activated for longer
than 10 seconds, the dishwasher will stop.
It will indicate error code F4.
    Possible causes:
    – Lower tray flooded.
    – Excess water intake.
    – Anti-overfl ow safety micro switch has short-circuited:
It is not disconnecting, for either mechanical or electrical reasons.

Most likely is a leak into the base.

You have not given the model but the fault codes tend to follow in product group ie same for all dishwashers.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Fagor FBI981X1 Integrated Oven

    Hi Jontymox.

If this is the main oven with the issue please check the door lock. The lock works the internal light in the oven but also cuts out both the fan element and the fan. There should be a plastic pin that protrudes down from above the door on the right this strike is operated by the door upon closing. The pin can break if the door is allowed to slam, or, if therubber grommet is not fitted over the fixing screw.

    Hope this helps
