Re: De- Dietrich, Induction Hob. DTI704V

    Hi

In order to determine if it is the power card or keyboard card, you will need to swap over the left and right power cards to see if the fault transfers to the other side of the hob. you do not need to remove the coils from the power cards to do this only the mains connection the bus wire connection for the keyboard card and the earth screw. The code is a config code that is factory set and is not a fault code this clears after 30 seconds or so, or if the controls are used.

    Hope this helps

    Hi

The hob is in child lock. IF you look at the right hand controls for the appliance there is a paddlelock shown below the + and – symbols ( either on timer or power controls ) press both together for 3 seconds to remove. This can be put on when the customer cleans the hob with a wet / damp cloth.

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

It may be worth checking the door lock. The switch on the assy. is designed to cut off the element and fan if the door is opened during use. This is more comon on 2003-7 machines.

    I hope this helps

Sorry as this is a double oven the strike is below the top oven door not the control panel.

    Hi

Sounds like the door lock to me. If you have no fan or fan element and the oven light is on all the time. On the right hand side, betweenthe door and control panel, you should have a plastic switch strike which lines up with a recess on the top of the door, this plastic can break.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Hot fill dishwasher

As with a lot of Manufacturers De Dietrich and Fagor machines can connect to hot water up to 60 degrees.

It is worth bearing in mind that if ANY brand machine uses a cold inlet to aid the condenser drying this will be affected by using hot water, also any cold rinses will also use hot water, so unless the customer has solar / heat pump, it is not always the best option

    Hi John,

As mentioned above there is a door switch that controls the model on this model, so worth checking. If you require a service manual on this model PM me your email address I will send one over.

    Re: DeDietrich Dishwashers???

    Hi

While De Dietrich are now owned by Fagor, all De Dietrich 60cm dishwashers are made in France and Fagor 60cm made in Spain. 45cm models I would need the model number to confirm the origin.

The washer Drier mentioned would be at least 6 years old on the electrolux / AEG platform mow all made in Spain.

Should you require any tech info please let me know, I will be happy to send any I have.

Re: de dietrich 428 xu1 no heat from oven

    Hi

As Martin has said the first place to start is the element If the appliance is Pyroclean I would suggest the door lock as this prevents the fan and fan element from operating with the door open. conventional will work ok. Please let me have an email address and I will be happy to send wiring info should you need it.

    Bill
