    Re: Object between drums

    Yes and No.

If the wire is wrapped around the heater, then removing the heater should allow you to remove the wire.

If not then the whole drum has to be taken apart.

    Re: Embarassing Bosch question

interesting, never, ever, ever had to fit a heater on a new style bosch.

Done absolutely loads of motors and seal kits, and the stupid electrochemical corrosion holes………….. but no heaters.

From what i recall the housing unclips from the microswitch end, and the heater slides out.

    Have fun.

    Re: Creda 37747 Condenser dryer

Came across the same problem with one of my customers, after 4 months and fitting 3 stat kits.

Got a bit cheesed off in the end and decided to ask the customer to run the app. for me. found the customer was not allowing for the 10 minute cool-down in the end.

If the machine cant cool down when switched off prematurely, the stats stew in the heat off the heater and blow, after all the stats dont care if the electricity is flowing or not.

i have come across the water filter blocking-up, from what i believe a lot of the w`pools have an overflow from the filter. This could be the source of the leak.

    Re: w`pool F/I Dishwasher ADG 7540/1 – No Heat.

    Hi.

I went out today with a new P.C.B., fitted the part with no result.

    Still no heat.

    Can anyone advise correct resistance`s for the NTC, i currently read 85kohm @ 15 `c and 39kohm @ 25 `c approx.

Or can anyone give me a clue ???????

Re: Safety Issue on Hotpoint Dishwashers

    re ressurecting the topic.

Have come across this many times myself, including ariston and hotpoint branded machines. Just completed a PAT course, and Yes an industry standard finger (i should get one for the back of my van).

As per the costcutting, if they cut any more costs on these machines, they will really only be able to sell these as true colanders. not that they arnt already that !!

Has anyone actually come across an `old` current design dishwasher. The oldest i`ve come across is 5 years.

That i have to say is the most reliable bit about them, the fact that when you get to the job you already know there`s gonna be a very happy scrap man out there.

Good old Merloni. Reliable and safety conscious, as always.

No error codes, the program runs through to the end.

    Spray arms are clear.

Signed into `X`, and forms in post for repairs@. Saw Shaun the other day, with the big green `X` machine.

    Thank you, any information helps.

Re: Hotpoint DWF40 Fault lights flashing

    sounds familiar.

we had one, was advised it was the water flow sensor.
you will find it located bottom left hand side (looking @ it).
we disconnected the sensor and the machine ran.
turned out to be a combination of the sensor and flattened pipes.

    Re: Baumatic Fridges

Unfortunately have come across this before.

It could very well be an internal leak, lots of the eastern manufacturers favour using poor quality metals that tend to corrode.

I would at least pose the question to Baumatic as to why these `Quality` appliances fail in such similar fashion and age.

    Re: Samsung RS21DCNS….any good?

    In my opinion………NO.

Seem to constantly be repairing them.

Try these makes, Maytag, White Westinghouse, Frigidaire. These are usually American made, not the Far East made units.
