Is this the engineer search through the Approved Engineers tab on this site? Or through the WTA site.

    Either way details are :

Re: How to open the front panel of Miele W844 for drain prob

    Hi Wphil,

If I remeber rightly to release the front panel you need to take out the soap tray, take out the 3 screws holding the facia.
There is screw directly below the drain filter on the left hand side near the bottom of the machine.
You then need the door open and there are 3 bolts around the door seal.
I think this should now release the front panel which hinges on the right hand side.

Remember to isolate and test…..ie pull the plug out!!!!!!

    Good luck

Re: creda c220e fan oven stopped heating up??? help please

I would suspect the fan oven element.
If you remove it from the oven there will probably be an obvious hot spot on it somewhere.

Remember to isolate the oven first!!!!!!

    Hi Mel,

Not sure off the top of my head what that fault code is ( I’m sure someone on here will enlighten you) but it sounds like you have a blockage somewhere in the machine.
Firstly get the water out by dropping the drain hose in a bucket or something, I think there is a drain filter on the front of machine. Unscrew it and see what you find!

Thats where id put money too Martin. Check to see if the drum is loose first. If so then the bearings are shot. May not just becase of a bearing or drum change. The shaft on the back of the drum maybe damaged.
