just a quick reply, if a fault develops on the oven then the fuse will not blow but the internal componants will fry, just be warned.

then that is a 30amp supply and your 13 amp cooker shoud not be directly connected to it, please find an electrician with part P and seek his advice on the installation.

i find the BT wifi hotspots are very handy even in rural areas i can normaly find a hotspot, its BT prices that i disagree with, but you cant have it all ways.

that looks like a 30amp cooker connection point but may also be a switched spur connection, what kind of isolation switch controls the supply to the oven. ?.

the wash heater has a low earth resistance, insulation test on the heater will prove it.

Martin this is just for testing and yes you will get an E14 but not the other two, best to check the heater with an insulation tester when hot.

best to disconnect the live and neutral to the heater as there is still an earth path back throuh the water,inner tub and its earthing wire on the tub bearing housing. 😉
