    you need to think about this carefully,
    if the cable is getting hot and its 2.5 mm it has to be drawing more than 13 amps.

    i would avise you to contact an appliance engineer.

    Hi arosview,

    i would be looking for a defrost problem, turn defrost timer to the defrost position and remove the freezer evaporator cover and check if the heater is working if yes change the timer if not check the heater and thermal cut outs.

    if the drain pump is running all the time the main pcb is faulty.

    does it run all the time on the self test mode ?.

    not quite sure about that i will have to read the service manual,
    i would think it will go into emergency timed cooling / freezing cycle but to be on the safe side check the tempreture regularly or start moving your frozen food to a working freezer.

    E0 is a sensor fault best call out an engineer.

    plug out if you have a go yourself.
