Tilt appliance back and place a bowl under filter then unscrew it and shine a torch inside you can then see the pump impellors its likely they a jammed with something and with a pair of long nose pliers you can usaully pick the object thats jamming it out

To get the beep back press the temp and spin speed buttons together for a second or so it will reset it

From the front count 3 holes toward the back then with a small terminal driver push it down the hole and push the metal either side of the hole inside flat the paddle will then push towards the back at this point squeeze it to remove

It is normal to have upto a pint of water left in the sump area after the wash. If your appliance is on a sink spigot then this will make it smell also using liquids or gel capsules on low temps (upto 40c) cause a build up of grey smelly sludge in the drum you need to perform a boil wash with a descaler tablet (like calgon) in the drum on a 90c wash on a reguler basis. There wont be a prob with the pump .
