check the return air duct is not blocked in the freezer section .It your not sure leave it off for two days then try it but I suspect the freezer fan or cut outs may be required as you say the freezer is working

They fitted an askoll wash motor on this version which is indeed susceptible to the noise you describe so that is most likely.

It has activated the anti flood device there will be water in its base. you will need to remove the water from the base and then run it checking for any leaks

It seems you have activated the child lock. Press and hold both the options button and extra rinse button in together until the padlock symbol disappears from the screen it should then work

Remove the wiring connecter blocks either end of the wiring to the switch and check for any sign’s of burning out.

That’s what it should read as I said earlier the system is at fault.

This sounds more like a system fault (lack of gas or weak compressor) in this case the compressor may feel particularly hot due to excessive running. The fridge sensor is not designed for replacement on this model.

Check the wiring hasn’t broken on the NTC at the back on the bottom of the condenser.

That’s is classic fault with the circuit board on this model. As the circuit board is situated on the bottom front of the cabinet it would appear possibly some of the defrost water has found its way into the housing on this occasion..

I don’t remove the fascia when doing these I remove the circuit board from the new timer housing and clip it into the existing timer housing . As for the fascia they use a kind of gel like bonding strip which come’s supplied with a new fascia but i’m fairly certain can be obtained separately but you often find the fascia just dosen’t seem to stick back on properly and that’s why I try to avoid removing it at all costs!!

    Re: Electrolux pcb

This may seem strange but try disconnecting the dryer element at the top as a faulty element (usually has become damp through lack of use) can cause the pcb to appear to be dead in some case’s . It’s worth a try !!
