Re: Lamona Fridge/Freezer Fridge freezing food

Its electronically controlled so no thermostat as in the traditional sense so it if its building up thick with ice at the back it could be the NTC but its foamed into the insulation or most likely in my view a system fault IE- lack of gas/in restriction/compressor failing

Presuming you have tried plugging it directly into a wall socket minus the timer then it could be the on/off switch not engaging properly so try pressing it and holding it down to see it the display lights. I’ve had a few display boards fail on this range so that’s possible or it could be the power supply part of the main pcb located rear bottom . I personally never recommend running any dishwasher on a timer overnight for safety reasons though. Hope this helps!

The fan element is replaced via the front by removing the fan cover at the rear of the cavity.

This model has no thermostat it is electronic controlled . When a small square is in the display this indicate’s one of the NTC sensors has failed (these are what send the temperature’s to the main control board) but equally it could be the main control board itself.

Could well be the watercounter at fault here its accessed by removing the left side panel and the internal fill hose from the water valve connects to the bottom of it .

Yes on these it can block with ice at the point the drain exits the cabinet there is grey sealant normally around this area to try and prevent it happening also on the bottom of the drain hose is a none return valve which can block allowing defrost water to build up.

The air chamber on this range is internally split between the nozzles for the hose’s and has a slanted top meaning more capacity on one side and more than once have I been to a job after an engineer had reversed the hose’s.

    Re: Electrolux EW1006F Randomly Stops

Firstly if the drain hose is installed in a standpipe on the wall check you haven’t pushed the drain hose to far down it if not then check you haven’t reversed the two pressure tubes by mistake swap them them around and try that .

Select drain start the program then press both the start/pause button and the next button along to the left in together this will then display the engineers error code which you could pass on to the service centre
