    Had a look at this one today. Checked tacho. Got a reading of approx 2v on tacho pins.Checked brushes, loom, motor to board,cleaned connections,still f53.Machine about three and a half years old and in holiday apt.Machine drains and fills and then faults after a couple of rotations in wash cycle.

    Thanks for reply. Just googled it and it seems it does exist. Have not seen it yet and going on cust information. Fault was gurgling noise and steam coming out of base area. Machine been idle for many years.

    Thank you Wizard. I did check wiring and there was evidence of a previous repair but all looked ok. Was wondering if it may be a pressure switch issue.

    Had one last year. Rental property. Landlord area manager for large bank. No joy with constant calls. Found out he was captain of a well to do golf club. Addressed invoice to him c/o golf club. Marked envelope ” overdue account”. Got payd within a week.

    Have you checked the red air release valve is free at top left of metering chamber.Paul
