    Re: fdw20 no heat

Yes Jim I found it strange not to have 2nd and 4th light flashing to indicate board or heater. Thinking about it afterwards I was wondering would it be the high pressure sensor that has failed. Will complete a cycle. Machine fills to correct level. Why are friends machines always the awkward ones. Thank you for reply and part no.

    Re: whirlpool reeds

Sorry for late reply Don. The item I’m after are the little glass reed switches that you solder onto small board on side of fill matrix on whirlpool dishwashers. Failure of these throws up the f7 fault. I know you can buy the little board already made up,but these are an easy repair and are cheap to buy in bulk off Rs electronics. Thanks again for replying.

Thank you Don and Martin for reply. Not sure how well the word “Mainland” fitted into the conversation though Don as we both live in separate countries.Paul

Selector switch. Switch on machine. Tap control knob lightly to see if display flickers.

Fitted new interlock. Ran 15 min wash, all good. Would be great to get error codes and diag for these as they are quite popular around here now.
