    no obvious signs Andy but considering both valves were leaking badly there could have been water on it.i doubt that this place has been lived in for a couple of years. customer only just bought it so dont know its full history..

    Thanks Nige. suppressor looks ok.Was thinking poss timer motor asit seems to happen at roughly same time in on cycle just like you would expect off heater.

    Struggle to think it’s the drum Martin. Had reason to take belt off twice and span drum by hand both times to align belt on pulley. Bloody predictive text(once or twelve)Paul

    Yes it runs with belt off.’it will turn with belt on once or twelve and then start slowing down. Thanks for reply.
